TechniquePunching using a band saw blade tool
Working widthup to 600 mm
Thicknessup to 10 mm
Tolerances±0.5 mm

In flat-bed or stroke punching, adhesive tape materials are punched into virtually any 2D shape per stroke using a band saw blade tool.

TechniqueContinuous punching using a punch-cylinder tool
Working widthup to 250 mm
Thicknessup to 2 mm
Tolerances±0.5 mm

In traditional rotary punching, the adhesive tape material is continuously processed over punching cylinders and tooling. This enables large production runs to be carried out efficiently, quickly, and reliably.

Technologyregister- and point-accurate punching using camera technology
Working widthup to 600 mm
Tolerances±0.2 mm

Servo rotary punching machines enable point- or register-accurate punching using camera technology. For materials such as printed labels or RFID tags, punching must only occur at defined locations to keep the print image and functional areas intact. The camera detects the position, and the servo motors adjust the speed so that punching occurs precisely at the correct point.

Kiss-cutting means: We punch on the carrier material without cutting through the backing. In addition, with tapes or laminates, individual material layers can be punched selectively – layer by layer – to varying depths.

Häufige Fragen zum Klebeband stanzen

During adhesive tape die-cutting, self-adhesive materials – e.g., tapes, foams or technical films – are contoured precisely into a defined shape.
This solution is ideal when:

  • precise, repeatable geometries are required
  • manual trimming should be avoided
  • processes need to be automated or accelerated
  • assembly times should be reduced

die-cut parts ensure a clean, process-safe application – manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic.

Virtually all commercially available materials can be processed, including:

  • double-sided and single-sided tapes
  • transfer tapes
  • foam adhesive tapes
  • technical films
  • multi-layer laminates
  • composite materials with modified adhesive layers

By laminations, adhesive changes, or protective cover adjustments, custom material combinations can be produced.

The manufacturing is performed with tight dimensional tolerances and high repeatability.

Thanks to optical measurement technology (e.g., line-scan camera), process stability and reproducible quality are ensured.
Complex geometries, small contours, or delicate cutouts are feasible.

Depending on the requirement, various configurations are possible:

  • Individual die-cut parts, loose
  • On a roll (continuous or individually separated)
  • On sheets
  • With finger lift or removal aid
  • With positioning or fixing aids
  • With modified protective cover (paper or film liner)

The configuration is tailored precisely to your application process.

The price depends, among other things, on:

  • Material type and material thickness
  • Contour complexity
  • Tooling effort
  • Order quantity
  • Further processing (e.g., lamination, coating, application aids)
  • Packaging and shipping method
  • Technical cleanliness

Through optimized manufacturing processes and modular machine concepts, economical solutions can also be realized for medium-volume production runs.

For a quick and accurate quotation, the following information is helpful:

  • Technical drawing (ideally with tolerance specifications)
  • Material specification or requirements profile
  • Dimensions and material thickness
  • Desired delivery form
  • Annual or project quantity
  • Application area / type of application

The more precise the information about the application, the more targeted the preparation will be.

Sample productions and prototypes can be implemented on short notice.

Thanks to flexible manufacturing structures and modular process chains, test parts can be realized quickly, provided that the raw materials can be procured quickly — ideal for development projects, pilot runs, or process optimization.
