Pick and Place für Klebelösungen

TechniquePerfect positioning of processing aids on the stamped part
AdvantageNo bonding between the two components
ResultFrictionless release in the automation process
Advantage 1No sticking of the application aid to the die-cut part adhesive layer
Advantage 2Precise positioning to within one hundredth of a millimeter
Advantage 3Absolute reproducibility for every adhesive solution

Conventional self-adhesive processing aids can stick to the adhesive layer of the die-cut part. The result is that the liner cover cannot be peeled off, which is caused by the adhesion between the adhesive layer of the finger lift and the adhesive layer of the die-cut part.

Pick and Place Positionierung im Überblick

To place finger lift tabs and peel-off tabs on the stamped part precisely, we position them in production using pick-and-place robot technology. This ensures the application aids are placed at the same position every time, to within one hundredth of a millimeter. Because the tabs are also self-adhesive, contact with the adhesive coating of the stamped part is avoided – and thereby the risk that the liner sticks and cannot be peeled off cleanly anymore is reduced. A clear reference and registration concept is crucial: the placement is edge-aligned to an absolutely reproducible position on the stamped part.
