Perforiertes Klebeband im Überblick
Perforated tape is an adhesive tape or adhesive die-cut part with defined micro-slits along one or more lines. This allows clean separation or division into predefined sections without tools – ideal for fast, repeatable applications in assembly, packaging, or protection.
A typical example is perforated masking tape, which can be torn by hand and thus significantly speeds up processing. In converting, perforation is also often used as an application aid – for example with punched parts or sheeted goods – to facilitate handling, degating, or the easy tearing off of individual parts, in addition to finger lifts, pull tabs, grab tabs and positioning holes.
