For double-sided adhesive materials, we replace the liner protective cover by wrapping: the existing liner is peeled off and replaced with a new protective cover.

Umwickeln im Überblick

During rewinding of film and adhesive tape materials, roll goods are carefully wound or rewound. In converting, this primarily means precise winding with consistently controlled web tension to achieve defined run lengths, roll widths, and core diameters, and to minimize typical web defects such as creases. In industry, rewinding is often directly combined with cutting and cutting to length (see cut spools) – which noticeably speeds up processing, both manually and automatically.
