Punching labels
Die-cutting delivers contour-accurate self-adhesive labels with a perfect fit, even in small quantities or large runs. Krückemeyer customizes labels individually – including optional kiss-cut and liner solutions – as contract manufacturing.

We can generally process label materials and punch them into custom geometries. We do not perform label printing, whether before or after punching. We exclusively optimize the labels through appropriate downstream processing.
| Processable label materials | PP | PVC | PE | and more. |
| Adhesive coating | Large selection of transfer adhesive films |
| Custom materials | Technical films | adhesive tape | and more. |
In addition to standard label materials, we also process specialized high-performance materials – for example for heat-resistant labels. In addition, standard labels can be equipped with extended material properties and targeted optimization.
| Formats | Classic rectangles | rounds | custom 2D shapes |
| Roll stock | Custom dimensions |
| Sheet stock | Custom dimensions |
All labels can be produced either as individual pieces, on sheets, or as roll stock.
Häufige Fragen zum Etiketten stanzen
Unfortunately not - We only process the base material in blank form, or, depending on the variant, we can also further process materials that are already printed.
With label die-cutting, self-adhesive label materials are precisely cut into defined contours – perfectly matched to the product, surface, and application process.
The method is particularly recommended when:
- individual shapes or special geometries are required
- automatic labeling systems are used
- high repeatability is required
- functional layers (e.g., protective or laminate films) should be integrated
Die-cut label materials enable fast, clean, and process-safe labeling.
A wide range of self-adhesive materials are processed, including:
- Film labels (e.g., PET, PP, PE, PVC)
- Transparent or opaque functional films
- Multilayer laminates
- Custom technical materials
- Materials designed to withstand temperatures and liquids
Additionally, material combinations, laminations, or adjustments to the adhesive layer are possible – depending on the requirements for adhesion, temperature, or chemical resistance.
The manufacturing is carried out with tight tolerances and high process stability.
Delicate contours, small radii, or cutouts are also feasible – depending on the material structure. Optical metrology ensures consistently reproducible quality.
Depending on the application area, several variants are available:
- On rolls (for automatic dispensers or labeling machines)
- On sheets
- Individually separated
- With pull tab (finger lift)
- With perforated carriers
- With modified protective cover (paper or film liner)
The finishing/converting process is tailored precisely to your application process.
The cost-effectiveness depends, among other things, on:
- Material type and material thickness
- Contour complexity
- Tooling effort
- Additional processes such as lamination or finishing
- Quantity and call-off quantity
Through optimized manufacturing processes, both small-batch production and large-volume runs can be economically viable.
For an accurate quote, the following information is helpful:
- Technical drawing or die-cut contour
- Material specification or requirements profile
- Dimensions and material build-up
- Printing – desired (later) placement of motifs, etc.
- Adhesive requirement (e.g., permanent, removable)
- Preferred delivery form
- Project or annual quantity
This information enables a fast and targeted quotation.
Samples and prototype runs can be produced on short notice.
Thanks to flexible stamping and converting processes, test samples can be prepared quickly – ideal for product approvals, validations, or ramp-ups.
