EPDM Laser Cut describes the contour-accurate laser cutting of EPDM elastomer based on digital data – without a stamping tool. This is especially advantageous when geometries change frequently, prototypes are needed quickly, or delicate contours are required.
In general, many EPDM grades can be processed – depending on thickness, formulation and structure. Among others, EPDM sheet stock as well as selected laminated/bonded variants are possible. Whether a material is ideally suited depends on its thermal behavior and the desired cut quality.
