Peel-off aids are self-adhesive auxiliary tapes or integrated tabs on the liner (separator/cover film), so that it can be peeled off quickly, cleanly and safely in production – especially for double-sided tapes, tape pieces, and stamped parts, where manual fiddling costs time and invites errors. They are designed to reliably adhere to siliconized or PE-based liners and to enable a secure transfer of force during peeling.

This is especially helpful for straight peeling processes to remove the liner in one step from multiple tape pieces and/or stamped parts and to reduce cycle time. In finishing/converting, peel-off aids are often planned directly as part of the application aids (e.g., peel tabs, handling tabs) to significantly improve dispensing ease and process reliability from manual to fully automated operations.
