Fixturing aids are application- and process-support tools that securely position adhesive die-cut parts on the component during assembly—usually temporarily until the next process step; depending on the application and adhesive system, they can also be permanent.

For serial production, integrated features such as positioning holes, perforations, or grip tabs—for example on sheet stock, such as Family Sheets—are particularly helpful, because they simplify handling and assembly and reduce misalignment due to slipping. Depending on the use case, additional fixturing bands for loose or movable parts may also be used, which reliably secure them and, for temporary fixturing, are ideally removable without leaving residues.
