Composite materials
Composite materials combine multiple layers with specific properties into a functional unit – for example, damping, protection, or load-bearing capability. Krückemeyer produces tailor-made multilayer structures for your application.

Verbundmaterialien im Überblick
Laminate composites (also laminates/material combinations) means bonding two or more materials that can be cut and rolled – e.g., adhesive tapes, technical films, protective films or foams – using adhesive technology to form a durable multi-layer composite. This allows materials to be precisely refined and additional properties integrated that a single material does not cover (e.g., protective, barrier, damping, or improved handling properties) – up to a reinforced functional structure through multi-layer combinations.
Depending on the starting form, the implementation takes place via laminating lines for roll goods or lamination tables for sheet goods: The layers are brought together under a defined contact pressure bubble-free and subsequently processed further in a process-appropriate manner, for example by cutting, rewinding or punching.
